Established in 2001. Before the food truck craze began in Providence, "Chilangos" was already holding fort at India Point Park selling tacos and tortas to the hispanic soccer teams who congregated there Sundays to play friendly matches and their families who enthusastically cheered them on. The opportunity to open up a brick-and-mortar shop presented itself, and our family worked tirelessy to get Chilangos up and running in 2001. Fast forward to today, and we are still cooking with the same passion and principles that Grandpa Carlos taught us. We strive to provide our customers with the recipes we grew up on, while also drawing creative inspiration from the flavors of our homeland.
