City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation is the proud steward of more than 33,000 acres of desert preserves with 200 miles of trails, 189 spacious city parks, community and recreation centers that offer fun, affordable classes, sports, and programs, great golf coures and sparkling pools. More than 1.1 million Phoenix residents made more than 31 million visits to city parks last year, and 700.000 residents made more than 17 million visits to our mountain preserves and desert parks.
