Chris Carle and Michael Darby started their business after working in other restaurants and bars together. Coach's originally opened it's doors as the Bum Steer, after a fight with Mother Nature and some serious renovations Coach's Bar & Grill was launched in 1983 as one of the first sports bars in Kansas City.
