Crasqui Restaurant's Owner and Chef, Soleil Ramirez, was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and grew up in a loving, multigenerational home where food was the connection that brought them all together. Her fondest childhood memories are of cooking with her mother and grandmother for all who mean the most to them. The cuisine is an array of authentic Venezuelan dishes, the only place in the Twin Cities to find such gem! Many of the provisions are imported from South America, which allows Crasqui to furnish original dishes from Venezuela which will transport any native back to their homeland, and also entices and invites those unfamiliar to the cuisine, to the sensational cooking that is only accessible from the wonder of the country itself. The atmosphere, energy & high vibrations are yet another piece that creates such a unique and one of a kind experience for all who walk through the doors. All guests will feel as though they on the coast of the Caribbean ocean in Venezuela from the ocean-like floors to the music & decor. Not to mention our Specialty Cocktails that are no where to be found except inside the walls of Crasqui...including the best rum in the world from Venezuela! Soleil is eternally grateful for family, friends, mentors, and the organizations that helped her succeed.
