Dance Prism

Dance Prism, founded in 1982 by Scott Ranagan and Mary Demaso, is a classically focused ensemble that includes in its standard repertoire both such narrative ballets as The Nutcracker, Coppélia, Giselle, The Firebird, Don Quixote, Swan Lake, La Sylphide, and original neoclassical works such as The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Masque of the Red Death, Hansel & Gretel, Aladdin, & Peter Pan. The 2015-2016 season featured a rejuvenated version of Dance Prism's classic production of Cinderella & a new original full-length production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. The 2016-2017 will begin with a restaging of The Sleeping Beauty which the company last performed in 2000, our 34th annual tour of the family favorite The Nutcracker, a new production of the timeless love story Romeo & Juliet, culminating in our 17th year of our in-studio event Kaleidoscope
