Doctor's Cave Cafe

Established in 1999. We opened the Cave in 1999. We have an immense love for food but found that there were very few places we actually enjoyed eating. We felt we couldn't trust the sourcing, the quality, or the preparation. My wife and I both came from families that grew a lot of the food we ate so it was natural for us to look for alternatives that may be more expensive in some cases, but have a higher pay off in the end; as far as being healthy and loving the food and its potent freshness. Now we bring produce from the Hudson Valley, from many small organic woman farmers, and butchers, to Bedford-Stuyvesant, the place we have called home for over 25 years. We are very happy to do this at a reasonable price for our community!
