"The Earl Scruggs Center is an interactive museum and cultural center that explores the innovative career of legendary banjo master Earl Scruggs and the history and cultural traditions of the region in which he was born and raised. Mr. Scruggs crossed musical boundaries and defined the voice of the banjo to the world. He embraced tradition while also adapting to changing times and looking toward the future -- themes which resonate throughout the Center.
