Rolfing's Structural Integration is a bodywork that realigns the body's complex connective tissue structure, known as fascia. Fascia is a web-like substance that surrounds, supports, and permeates all of the body's muscles, bones, nerves and organs, and can therefore be the culprit in pulling the body out of its optimal alignment. The Rolfing's Ten Series is a systematic approach to restoring the body to its most balanced, functional, and resilient way of being. Rolfing's Structural Integration has the potential to improve posture, increase a sense of ease in the body, improve functionality and efficiency of movement, promote patterns that reduce the effects of aging, promote faster recovery from physical stress, release tension, alleviate pain, address compensatory patterning from injuries, and promote mental and emotional balance and well-being.
