Ember Urban Eatery

Established in 2013.For us dreaming of owning a restaurant was just that: a dream. A casual conversation that we thought would never become reality. A conversation that occurred while cooking meals together while the Food Network was on the kitchen television. We both fell in love with the Holy Rosary/ Fletcher Place neighborhood where we were selling condos at the Villaggio. We became friends with many of the Villaggio residents and with many people in the neighborhood. This friendly neighborhood felt like home to us. After lots of thoughts and plenty of prayers, we decided to move forward. We really wanted a place for people to come to relax, enjoy made from scratch food, local beers, and friendly service. The name Ember came from personal relationships and Shelly's thoughts with her friends. "My long time and distance friends are very special to me. We have always stood by the fact our friendship was like an Ember. We could always start where we left off." Ember represents, food and friendship.
