I got started with massage because of my horses and competitive trail riding. When I was on a ride my horse was having some muscle cramping issues and the vet told me what to do. So I massaged my horses back leg for 30 minutes and then came back to the vet for a re-check. He was at a level 3 lameness (highest you can be at) and when she checked him again he was down to a level 1. She stated "I know what you need to do for a living" I laughed and said what do you mean? she replied "normally people cant do what you did, especially for horses" and she went on telling me about equine sports massage therapy. So I looked into getting in to massage school after that. I passed my state board medical test and got my license in aug 2010 and been opened ever since :)
