Our office specializes in two forms of chiropractic care that aren't easy to come by. The first being AMIT which stands for advanced muscle integration technique. This is a muscle manipulation where you work with two points of the body to reconnect a specific muscle to the nervous system. A few examples of conditions this technique works to treat are: frozen shoulder, sprained ankles (most all sports injuries), and plantar fasciitis. Muscles can become disconnected from the nervous system by injury, repetitive movement, stress, diet, and chronic dehydration. The second thing our office specializes in is NST which stands for nasal specific technique. This is a cranial adjustment in which the doctor inserts a small balloon into the nasal passages and quickly inflates and then deflates it. Doing so unlocks the cranial sutures and chambers within the skull to increase the movement of cerebral spinal fluid within the skull. Some conditions this technique treats are: sinus congestion, chronic sinus infections, deviated septum, headaches/migraines, cognitive problems associated with concussions, learning and informational processing issues, snoring, sleep apnea, chronic fatigue, TMJ/ jaw pain, hearing/ memory loss, depression and panic attacks.
