Ever since Jim Lunceford opened the first Express Oil Change store in 1979, we’ve prided ourselves on being the preeminent automotive service provider. Since day one, our oil change process has been refined to give our customers one of the quickest oil changes around, while still providing the highest quality service and premium vehicle maintenance checks. We’ve grown quite a bit since 1979 when Mr. Lunceford opened two stores in the Birmingham, Alabama suburbs. By 1995, Express Oil Change had become one of the biggest automotive service companies in the state of Alabama and when then-franchise owners Ricky Brooks & Joe Watson acquired the chain, EOC rapidly expanded with franchise locations throughout Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, and Mississippi in the mid-to-late 1990’s.
