FIU Health

FIU Health is comprised of all the health disciplines across FIU; the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, the Robert Stempel College of Public Health, and Social Work and the College of Arts and Sciences.  On August 8, 2011 the FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine opened the first of what will be numerous medical facilities and services on the Modesto Maidique campus. Within the next two to five years, the University will be positioned to provide quality, specialized patient care by some of South Florida’s best physicians, anchored by the groundbreaking research and medical education at the FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. This combination of patient care, research, and education will establish FIU Health as the community’s gateway to contemporary and innovative medical care, and provide access to physicians who are aligned with renowned South Florida hospitals. FIU Health is managed by the FIU HealthCare Network.
