Live Music, Coffee, Espresso, Beer, Wine, Cocktails, Fun Loving People Established in 1937. Built as a butcher shop in 1907, the Friendly Tap was born in 1937 by adding a full length bar to the room to convert into a tavern business. Leaving in tact the original built in cooler and showcase stage which is still used today, except the cooler holds all the beer, and the stage hosts some of the finest local music in the land.
