Goodys Tavern

The historic building that is now home to Goody's Tavern was originally established in 1929 as "Woody's Whitehouse," a diner named after the owner, Woody Farnsworth. Sometime around 1957, Woody sold the business to Gladys Woodcase, who in order to save costs on replacing the whole sign simply changed the "W" to a "G" and the name "Goody's" has been around ever since.
