Groundwork has been a homegrown coffee and tea destination in Southern California since 1990, specializing in coffee and tea that is certified organic, ethically sourced, and seriously delicious, as well as locally sourced brunch fare, house-made pastries, and healthy grab-and-go snacks. In 2016 we expanded to the Pacific Northwest by acquiring Portland's original micro-roaster, 42-year-old Kobos Coffee. With an eye towards maintaining our local-and-organic practices, we turned Kobos' historic Vaughn St. roastery into the base of our PNW operations.
