Handpiece Unlimited is a locally owned and operated handpiece repair company, with our MAIN focus being handpieces. This central focus in handpieces helps us specialize in the repair, rebuild, and maintenance of all types and brands. WE ARE VERY FORTUNATE TO BE ABLE TO DO ALL OF OUR REPAIRS IN-HOUSE! Most other handpiece companies, including some of the more famous catalog companies have to ship the handpieces several states away, which means your handpiece down-time is longer. They may not be able to work on electric or lab handpieces or have to send it back to the manufacturer, with astronomical repair prices. This is where having us as your local handpiece repair company comes in handy! We know how valuable your tools are to your practice and strive to repair them ASAP. Our turn around service (usually 24 hours after approval) is quite fast. If you are mailing your handpiece in to us from our other areas (SC, NC, TN or areas of NC) we get the handpiece the next day (mail it in the morning). We are also now happily selling a line of handpieces. Let us know if you would like to try one out. Our handpiece repair service started in 2008 in the Asheville area(Western North Carolina). Since then we have expanded into South Carolina, Tennessee, Eastern North Carolina, and Virginia. Our staff is friendly and eager to assist you in all of your handpiece needs. Each handpiece we receive is inspected, repaired (once approved), and tested according to the manufacturer's specifications. Most manufacturers will replace the entire turbine each time, resulting in large repair bills. We save you money by only replacing the parts that need to be replaced, while being sure proper performance is in effect. Which most often is the bearings, seals, and O-rings. As we carefully replace these parts we are sure to abide by all of the manufacturer's specifications. We use high quality parts (ceramic ABEC 9 rated integral shielded bearings, etc) on all of our repairs (not just on request) and providing them at a reasonable cost. Most other repair companies will replace your old bearings with steel bearings and charge you $30 or more dollars if you want to use the high-quality ceramic bearings. We always want to provide you with the best and you don't even have to ask for it! We keep a stock of major brands in our inventory to be sure to return your handpieces to you as quickly as possible. Standard turn-around time for high speed handpieces is 24 hours. We know that your most valued tools are your handpieces and we are committed to providing you with quality service and support. We stand behind our work with 4-6 month warranties and never do any unnecessary add-on repairs.
