In 1950, John Searcy began selling and delivering car batteries to wholesalers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Today, Interstate Batteries are sold in 300,000 dealers across the United States and internationally. In 1998, the innovation continued as Interstate All Battery Centers emerged to meet the growing demand for portable battery power by bringing a full spectrum of battery products to the retail market.
