Jewelry Mechanic

The Jewelry Mechanic Inc. opened for business in May of 1996. It started as a one man (Mike) operation in the Village of Pewaukee. After the first year of business it was obvious that Mike was going to need some help. That is when his wife Jo came on board. He is the artist mind and she is the business mind. After six years in Pewaukee they knew they would need a larger space. That's when the owner of the beautiful brick house in Oconomowoc called and offered a deal they could not refuse. Moving the business was hard, but worth it. In June of 2002 the new shop and store opened. Mike and Jo's daughter Rose started working with them. She always loved gemstones so her becoming a Graduate Gemologist was no surprise to anyone. Her husband Jamie started with them in 2008 as Mike's assistant/apprentice. He has taken to the trade of jewelry repair and design very well. In 2009 their oldest daughter Jessica joined the crew and is the resident pearl stringer and sales girl.
