Jimmies Cafe

We are Jimmies Cafe, a local Roslindale neighborhood ice cream and sandwich shop, with a goal to become a community staple. As a local and family-owned small business, our mission is to support the shop local movement. After many years of working in fine dining, an opportunity became available to purchase the ice cream shop where I grew up—so I quit my job and took on this new venture! I want Jimmies Cafe to be a happy place for our guests to come and enjoy a sweet or savory treat with the whole family.
Jimmies Cafe has been around since 2009 offering your favorite frozen treats and gourmet sandwiches all year long in the heart of Roslindale Square. We source our ice cream locally from the Puritan Ice Cream Company that has been making ice cream the old-fashioned way since 1908. When you walk into Jimmies you will be surprised by all we have to offer including rotating flavors, frappes (aka the New England milkshake), fresh smoothies, desserts, lobster rolls, combo meals and much, much more. So come on in and try a sample or two. And don’t forget about us in the winter time–we’ll be sure to warm you up on those colder New England days while you wait for the summer. Hope to see you soon!
