Kentucky Association-Hwy Contractors

The Kentucky Association of Highway Contractors (“KAHC”) was organized as a nonprofit corporation in 1921 to promote, preserve, and protect the highway construction industry in Kentucky. The industry has changed since that time, but the association’s purpose still holds true. We have approximately 150 Regular Members (contractors pre-qualified with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to perform construction projects) and 140 Associate Members (manufacturers and dealers of construction materials and equipment and persons or firms engaged in service to or for members and not involved in actual construction). Admission to membership is by majority vote of the Board of Directors.
