Jim was laid off at Mack Trucks where he worked as a diesel engine re-builder. Jim's ambition and knowledge of auto and truck engines, plus employment status, gave way to the young Jim opening his own business. His original business started out on the Carlisle Pike with his Phillips 66 station. It then became Citgo. In 1990, Jim purchased the land and salvage business on Wertz Lane in Enola. He then transferred his inspection license and expanded the garage. Jim's daughter Katy has been a Ford and Audi certified mechanic. She also has manufacturing experience working to build motorcycles at the Harley-Davidson plant in York, PA. June Kreitzer, Jim's mother, worked for Jim and the company from almost the beginning to the very end of her life. She loved picking up parts, sweeping the floors, making bills, taking appointments, and handled all of the accounting for the company. She looked forward to seeing our customers and treated them like family. She passed away on June 7, 2015.
