Ethnic population from the Indian subcontinent has grown in USA over the years and traditional wear has become more popular among the people not only in weddings and other ritualistic and formal gatherings, but also congregations in very informal settings. Although one would find a plethora of traditional ethnic outlets which serve the needs of modern and contemporary work on cotton and silk, most of these are machine woven. There is a definite dearth of availability of the quintessential traditional fashion with authentic handloom work accentuating the grandeur in Benarasi, Kanjeevaram ,Gadhwal or underlining the opulence in ethnic wear with pure metal work .
