La Mesa Sew & Vac

My name is Monika Gassaway. Sewing has been a hobby of mine since I was 7 years old. I have worked in the sewing industry since 1976 and in 1984 I was fortunate enough to begin my career at La Mesa Sew and Vac. I was presented with the opportunity to purchase the store in 2006 and I happily took it. Now it is my family business and I get to spread enthusiasm and knowledge for sewing throughout the community!
