Lloyd Bridges Traveland

Established in 1966.Lloyd Bridges Traveland Family History.It's no surprise that the birthplace of the Motor Home was in Michigan. Our father, Lloyd Bridges, was a large Dodge car and truck dealer in the early 1960's, located in Walled Lake, Michigan. Lloyd Bridges Traveland was founded in May of 1966 also at the same location. At that time we sold Holiday Rambler Travel Trailers and Mackinaw slide-in truck campers. Lloyd sold the first Dodge chassis to Ray Frank, who developed the first "house car". Of course this blossomed in to the enourmous motorhome industry that flourishes today.
