Mary Leopold, MA, LCSW

As a clincial social worker with over 18 years of experience, I am in private practice with offices in Evanston and Northbrook. I specialize in working with children (preschool through middle school) and adult inidividuals. I strive to create a warm, inviting, and interactive space for my clients of all ages, providing guidance and practical solutions in a nonjudgmental manner. Adult clients who seek my services are often struggling with relationship issues and divorce, anxiety, depression, loss, and parenting challenges. Many of my younger clients are manifesting symptoms of anxiety (i.e., school phobia, separation anxiety, sleep difficulties, social anxiety) and/or disruption in their family functioning due to divorce, death, or illness. I seek to create a strong connection with the parent(s) of all the children I see to further the therapeutic bond. I value the uniqueness and strength of every client and feel fortunate to be a part of their lives.
