Massage Horizons with Doug Turet

Hello, my name is Doug Turet and I launched the Personal Empowerment business that was to become Massage Horizons back in 2007, with the goal of helping those I met to live happier, easier, less stressful and more fulfilling lives.
In 2010, after more than 25 years as a master craftsman & designer, I met a massage therapist while attending a seminar in San Francisco and, after receiving my very first professional massage session, was insired to become a therapist, myself.
Two years later, just before graduation from massage school, I suffered what could easily have been a career-ending injury; one severe enough that it required reconstructive surgery of my left wrist. While recovering from that, the P/T regimen was so incredibly painful that I thought, "With all that I've learned about anatomy, there has to be _some_ way that I can help my wrist to heal without so much pain!", and that inspired me to develop the 100% painless deep tissue & medical massage  I offer my clients, today.
