Matt’s Tiger Pub

Established in 1991. Matt Coffland (my father) was a township trustee in the summer of 1990 when the flood of tears hit Shadyside Ohio. He worked for nearly a year to help repair and rebuild the community affected by the flood. He was down on his luck,recently divorced and did not have much at all. Pat O'Donnell gave him a chance and sold him the bar/restaurant on a land contract in June 1991.That's how Matt's Tiger Pub was born. I purchased the business in the fall of 2012. Previous names of the business were..... PRUNES PUB (house of pain) B&E Restaurant Alberts The building originally was a drug store when it was built.
