McKinney's Apothecary was established in downtown Decatur in 1952 by Bill McKinney. We are proudly the oldest operating pharmacy in Decatur. The current owner, Doug Taunton, has worked at McKinney's since 1968 and been owner since 1978. For over 50 years, we have continued to tailor services to individual patient needs. It is our goal to provide fast and accurate prescription filling, extensive patient counseling, and a professional atmosphere for patients living in and around Decatur.
