General Information Founded: 1991 Seattle, WA Description: I have been a professional photographer since jumping into the business while living in Seattle, Washington in the early 1990s. I cut my teeth in the industry working as an assistant for Seattle photographers Michael Skott, Dale Degabriele, Greg Sweney, Kevin Morris and Dave Emery to name a few. I have now lived in beautiful Asheville, NC for the past 16 years and embrace photography assignments and projects of all types. I take my role as wedding photographer very seriously since the collection of final images will be cherished by families for years to come. It has been a privilege to have been entrusted by so many couples to capture their wedding days in my unique artistic style and photographic approach. The diversity of weddings that I shoot keeps my creative vision fresh and faculties sharp. I am energized by the though of capturing those once-in-a-lifetime moments that you might miss in the frenzy of your wedding day. I photograph weddings locally at the Biltmore Estate, The Cliffs Communities, Grove Park Inn, and Homewood, to name a few. Asheville is such a beautiful wedding destination and I feel fortunate to work and live here. But I have also traveled extensively and photographed weddings in varied locales, including New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, the Outer Banks of North Carolina, and Scotland. My commercial clients have included Lowe's Home Improvement, Rack Room Shoes, The North Carolina Arboretum, The Cliffs Communities, Sega GameWorks, MinWax, Mission St. Joseph Healthcare Foundation, City of Asheville, and UNCA to name a few. My assistant and digital guru is Cory Barlow a SCAD graduate and all-around good guy who also happens to know a lot about beer, digital photography and bouldering! If you have any technical questions about any of these things he will provide you with the answers! If you need someone to build you a computer, assist you on a shoot, or help with location scouting he's your man.
