Muddy Waters Cafe & Grille

Muddy's began as Muddy Waters Cafe in the lower level of Liberty Street Commons in Downtown Wooster over 15 years ago. Dennis and Paula Tafoya purchased Muddy Waters from the original owners in 2005. They immediately began to open stores in the surrounding areas such as Orrville and Medina. They managed partnerships with the Cleveland Clinic and the JM Smucker Company as well. Within 2 years they operated 7 locations and it was at this point, Paula reminded Dennis that they got into business to be together, so they decided to downsize and focus solely on the downtown Wooster store. In 2010 they opened Muddy's Waters Bar and Grille with the first State of Ohio Entertainment District Liquor License issued and began the next chapter.
