Nam Phan HEART Foundation Keep our Kids off STREETS and on the MATS We are now offing FREE jiu jitsu classes to children from ages 5-13. I have grown up in this town all of my life and I'm not proud of a lot of the things i have seen around here. I believe that if a lot people around my age group had a role model of some type, some one to look up to or even just anyone to tell them right from wrong. There would probably be a lot less gang violence, drugs, theft ..ect. That's why I feel the need to give back to the community that i grew up in and give our kids a chance to better themselves. I believe in martial arts the kids will learn ways to defend themselves against bullies and other negative type influences but more importantly they will learn how to be respectful, become more disciplined and improve their self confidence. Lets keep our kids off the streets and on the mats.
