Nolas Salon & Day Spa

NOLAS began as a chance brainstorm of Denise Riley and Kelly Rapp, two savvy business women whose differences seemed to fit together like yin and yang - It's the collision of two go-getters. In August 2002, they opened NOLAS (which is salon spelled backwards). Denise who worked as a nail technician and owned her own salon in the Detroit area before moving to Akron, says, "I treat our salon's reception area like it's my living room, I want our clients to feel as welcome here as if they were a guest in my home".
