I provide Birth doula Services, Postpartum Doula Services, and Placenta Encapsulation Services. What Is a Birth doula? As a birth doula, I accompany women in labor to help ensure a safe and satisfying birth experience. I draw on my professional trainings, knowledge, and experience to provide you and your partner with emotional, physical, and informational support. I assist in providing you with information to aid in your ability to make educated decisions about your birth. I help you communicate your needs and desires to your birth attendants. I can provide reassurance and perspective to you and your partner, make non-medical suggestions for labor progress, and help with relaxation, massage, positioning and other techniques for your comfort. I am an independent and self-employed. As your doula, I am working for you, not your caregiver or hospital. My goal is to make you feel empowered as a woman and feel as though you were well informed and supported in your desires for the birth of your baby.
