Established in 1933. Ole's Big Game Steakhouse & Lounge is the life work of original founder and avid outdoorsman, Ole Herstedt. With animals still gracing our space from his many historied hunts, we have been an iconic road side stop in the quaint town of Paxton for 85 years. Now under the ownership of farmer and Paxton local, Tim Holzfaster, since 1988, our team looks forward to carrying on the rich tradition and keeping Ole's local for years to come.
