Oliv Pit Athenian Grille opened early is November in the Shoppes at Village Point in Southwest Boca Raton. This traditional Athenian restaurant is co-owned by two long-time residents of Athens, Greece. The restaurant serves high quality meats on skewers, farm-to-table produce salads, cheeses and fresh cut fries. The restaurant will utilize a cooking process that is popular in Greece but has not yet crossed into the U.S.; using olive pits as briquettes for cooking. This is an ecologically sound and flavorful alternative to charcoal making it the healthiest grill food option.
