One Step Beyond

One Step Beyond is a monthly dance night at the American Museum of Natural History. Each dance night takes place on a Friday in the Rose Center for Earth and Space, and different DJs host each event. Past events have included the talents of Q-Tip, Foster the People, and Yeasayer. Live bands play between DJ sets, other highlights include photo booths, the Hayden Big Bang Theater, and surprise visits (Kanya West has made an appearance). Glowing pictures create a visual experience with dynamic projections, and the cash bar provides libations.
