Osprey had its humble beginnings in 1985, when Jeff Maron began installing car phones from his home garage. Within only a few months, Jeff had to move to a bigger location due to his growing business. In 1989, Osprey moved to Stoughton, MA in a retail environment on a main road. The business was able to capitalize on attention-getting signage and expanded its product offerings to include auto security and remote start systems.
