Back in 1966, there was a beautiful girl named Paloma, a barmaid at the renowned Belmar Hotel in Mazatlán, Mexico. It was one of the best hotels of its time and the only one right on the ocean, at the meeting point of the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean. People from all over the world were regular guests, including Hollywood stars such as John Wayne, Robert Mitchum, and Marilyn Monroe.
