Peggy O’Neill was a vibrant young lass of nineteen with the vision of emigrating to America from her mother land of County Mayo, Ireland. Upon reaching New York City and traveling to Massachusetts she longed to find the man of her dreams and make Boston her home. Her hopes were dashed for she sailed on the largest ship afloat at that time setting sail from Southhampton, England on her maiden voyage to New York City on April 10, 1912. This liner was the RMS Titanic. We all know the fate of that vessel. As you dine at her namesake restaurant, in the midst of our century old building, we believe you will feel that the spirit of Peggy O’Neill is still among us.
