Brothers Marcello and Armando America have a long history in San Jose as restaurateurs. They both started in the restaurant business as children, and have over 40 years of combined restaurant experience. Their parents, Carlo and Lidia America, originally from Italy, owned San Jose's very well-known Jack's Pizza for 25 years. Marcello owned and operated Grande Pizzeria from 1998 to 2004, while Armando continued the tradition at Jack's Pizza. So, if you see Italian dishes as daily specials at Peggy Sue's, now you know why! Marcello and Armando are devoted to providing their customers with great food in a family-friendly environment. Their hands-on work ethic is what they believe sets Peggy Sue's apart from other restaurants. You will always see them - apron on - and ready to jump right in with the rest of the staff. All items are prepared fresh daily, from the hand-stamped Angus burgers to the homemade Italian dressing.
