People's Choice Kitchen

People's Choice Kitchen was established in 2001. Evangela "Van" Stanley, and Mark Walker decided to give Rochester a different choice of Jamaican food. Mark's mother owned a Jamaican restaurant in Kingston, Jamaica and it was his dream to open one as well. Mark taught Van all of his mother's secret recipes. It took a while to master them all. Together they have raised four kids. Egypt, their son, is following in his dad's footsteps.
