Pete's By the Park

Pete's By the Park is a barber shop located at Slate Hill Wellness in Marcellus NY. Expect old fashioned barber services and man cave amenities. We encourage walk-ins. If there's a wait, you can play pool, pinball, or relax on the couch watching the big screen. If you prefer an appointment, give us a call. After retiring from the NY State Police, Pete went back to school to become a barber. Marcellus had been without a barber for several years, and he wanted to fill that need. Barber License in hand, Pete and his wife, Dena, owner of Mandala Moon Yoga, LLC, started the hunt for a business location. Once the current site was purchased, many months were spent planning and designing and waiting for construction. Slate Hill Wellness, LLC, opened in November of 2016, along with the barber shop and yoga studio.
