Phil’s Bar-B-Que Pit

Phil’s Bar-B-Que Pit was opened by Phil and Jackie Garrison in November 2007, in an effort to bring good ole “Alabama BBQ” to Black Mountain, NC. Their casual family restaurant was inspired by some of their favorite BBQ joints they had enjoyed in the past. In the beginning, Phil’s featured an open pit where customers could watch as Phil prepared his signature mouthwatering BBQ over oak and hickory hardwoods.
