Pines & Palms Resort

Pines and Palm Resort has been in Islamorada as one of the original destination resorts dating back to the late 1930's. It was completely destroyed by a hurricane and rebuilt sometime around the late 1940's or early 1950's. We found the property in back in 1998 in horrible condition. We wanted to be in the Keys so bad, we sold everything we owned and moved from Michigan. The first thing we did was close the place down which took about 6 months because we had to evict a number of renters who were living there full time. From that point forward we have been renovating and improving things. We love what we do and have met many guests who have become close personal friends. You won't find a happier place to stay. The resort is unlike any other because you will experience a tropical village like setting. Not like a regular hotel with hallways and door after door. Each unit ether stands alone or is attached to a few others. One to three bedrooms, all have a full kitchen.
