Recycled Barre

Recycled Barre is a NFP community based dance studio that seeks to create accessible classes for its community members by recycling underutilized spaces into functioning dance studios. We are dedicated to offering classical dance training in historically disinvested communities at an affordable rate for all skill levels. Recycled Barre reimagines the idea of a traditional dance studio, and creates a one-room schoolhouse intergenerational model throughout urban cities. These dance studios work as the foundation for a welcoming and inviting atmosphere where beginning dancers and professional dancers can connect. Collectively, we believe that we are all dancers and we seek to create a central communal space where we take part in the development of each dancer's professional, fitness, and artistic goals.
