Rockford Flower Shop opened in 1952 & has been providing magnificent flower arrangements to the community ever since. In 1975 David & Linda Ruehs took ownership of the popular flower shop with the blessing of the original owners Ray & Thelma Kunst. David began his long career with flowers at just 14 years old, working for his neighborhood florist just down the block from where he lived. In 1996 David & Linda’s daughter Trissa joined Rockford Flower Shop as an apprentice to learn all aspects of the family business. Her parents passed on all the knowledge they had gained over the years & fully prepared Trissa to succeed in her new role as owner of Rockford Flower Shop. The Ruehs’s retired in 2016 & today Trissa carries on the family tradition.
