Root's Restaurant

We have many specials made from scratch in our own kitchen. Each day we feature at least two specials at a reasonable price. Established in 1950. Roots was originally started by Merle and Louise Root just a couple of doors down from our current location. After a couple of years their landlord Forrest James asked them if they would like to move in to the current location as he was moving. They accepted and we are still in the blue house on Memorial Dr. During the sixties the Roots decided to sell the business to Orlow and Maggie Pfaff. He continued to provide good food at a fair price. He also expanded the business to Tri-angle Lake and Party House. In 1991, he decided to sell to Janet & Jeff Graf. Janet a former employee of Orlow's bought the restaurant and continue to use the same business model that brought us this far. Janet, Jeff and their son Chris Strawn continue to own and operate Roots.
