San Fernando Athletic Center

San Fernando, California, became the first organized community in 1874. It’s located in the northwestern area of Los Angeles County in the San Fernando Valley. There are just over 25,000 residents in San Fernando. A few of San Fernando’s more popular residents were American Idol judge Paula Abdul and actor/singer/author Johnny Legend. Besides being close to Universal Studios, San Fernando is where you'll find the oldest Bob's Big Boy restaurant. The popular sitcom Friends was filmed locally, and legendary comedian Bob Hope is buried in the local cemetery along with singer Richie Valens.
