SandyPines Residential Treatment Center exists to provide children and adolescents with behavioral problems, severe emotional conflict, and/or mental illness the opportunity to engage in a therapeutic living experience which builds on individual strengths and emphasizes healthy problem solving. SandyPines will assist each child to overcome educational, social, interpersonal, psychological, and biomedical barriers to successful achievement and life adjustment. SandyPines respects the privacy, dignity, and personal rights of each SandyPines child. SandyPines provides intensive residential care and services for males and females from 5-17 years old with behavioral issues, mental health issues and/or emotional issues. Each resident's uniqueness, diverseness, ethnicity, gender orientation, gender identification, social and/or economic background is recognized and respected. Each resident's individual strengths are promoted. Through a variety of treatment programs SandyPines will ensure their residents receive the appropriate quality of care in accordance with lawful, ethical and accepted standards of practice for each professional discipline. In addition to the services provided to our adolescent residents, SandyPines is proud to offer one of the few children's programs of its kind in the state of Florida. This unique program offers mental health and behavioral health treatment for male and female children ages 5-12, in a safe and secure therapeutic environment.
